the ink bucket
illustration + design 
for stationery, journals & ceramicsI developed the 2023 Planner Collection during my time at Ink Bucket. The collection featured four dated planner options, a wall calendar, a desk calendar, and freebies for sale. Beginning early in the year, we developed multiple iterations for all the designs and refined every detail of the calendars, from copy to layouts, reworking themes and illustrations until we were satisfied with the results.

I worked on the identity and design across all products. Working closely with the brand founder, who hand-painted all final designs, I developed the illustrations, color palettes, and motif variations that unified the collection.

We created four cover variations for the dated planner, which included year-long prompts alongside the calendar pages. I developed several planner cover designs and designed the interior page layouts, ensuring they were both cohesive and functional.

I also developed the illustrations the monthly dividers and designed the sticker pages.

the wall & desk calendar


We also designed a board game-themed wall calendar featuring a new game each month. We created all games from scratch, brainstorming which games suited each month before designing the specifics. The desk calendar followed a travel theme, showcasing a different city monthly.

Beyond product design, I contributed to art direction for product photography and launch videos. The entire collaborative process leading to launch was very exciting!

I also worked on developing the ceramic collection, which was the brand's first venture into ceramics. I researched motifs and created the illustrations for the ceramic pieces, and helped in shooting and editing the collection's launch video.
