Self Initiated Project
Tangent Superfamily is a collaborative generative type system exploring how letterforms function as living knowledge systems. Starting from a shared motif and grid-based rules, the typeface evolves through layering and interaction—mirroring how gossip and stories shift and transform over time. 

Rather than fixed forms, Tangent treats typography as a dynamic system where meaning emerges through continuous generation and exchange.

We ended up making rubber stamps, for people to construct forms through our motifs. 




We created a header for Alphabettes and wrote about our process for Tangent, read it here!






We also won a Type High at Type Director’s Club Young Ones in 2026!
